Today we announced a new AC to Point-of-Load Development Kit (which we’re calling out “ACPoL DKit”). The kit is designed to give you everything necessary to begin testing and evaluating the features and benefits of Vicor’s end-to-end modular power systems solutions, and let you see the benefits of the power component design methodology for yourself.

Vicor's AC to PoL Development KitThe new kits have two chassis: one containing an AC Front End, and the other using PoL power components to deliver 3.3V, 5V and 12V outputs. You can select a kit that uses either a 24 V or a 48 V hub bus as the interface between the two chassis.

These new development kits can be used straight out of the box, and contain all the ancillary components you need, including a bus hold-up capacitor assembly and an AC line cord. Using the new ACPoL DKits allows you test and evaluate power components without the hassles and time penalties associated with designing and acquiring prototyping boards, system interconnects, energy storage and thermal management components.
