If you are planning to visit APEC 2015, meet us at Booth #929 to see our latest high-performance power components, as well as enhancements to our innovative online power system design tools suite, PowerBench.

During APEC Vicor will announce new products that extend our portfolio of power components that enable engineers to architect high-performance power chains from the source to point-of-load. Visit us to find out more about how we are extending our range of products that enable engineers to develop power systems quickly and easily using the power component design methodology.

At the show, you’ll also be able to see some exciting enhancements to the Vicor Whiteboard, enabling users to preview the mechanical layout of their power chains and assess the real-world size and dimensions of the components they’ve selected. Today, achieving power density is not just about minimizing volume: power engineers often need to fit systems into defined spaces.

The preview of the mechanical layout allows power designers to optimize their designs for maximum power density and space savings, as well as ensuring the system will fit in the available space.

We will have several of our applications engineers on the booth, ready to answer your questions about power design. They love to keep busy, so why not drop by and resolve the problem that has been on your bench for weeks?

At APEC 2015, Ankur Patel one of Vicor’s applications engineers will present a paper that describes the use of our proprietary Sine Amplitude Converter (SAC) switching technology in the design of an isolated step-up DC-DC converter. This presentation will be delivered in conjunction with the System Integration technical session scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 8:30am to 11:20am local time, in Room 2.
