Vicor EMI WebinarIf you missed our popular live EMI two-part webinar series, you can catch up and watch the recorded versions now. Chris Swartz, Principal Application Engineer, provides a comprehensive understanding of the design challenges associated with managing EMI in modern power systems and solutions to overcome them.

Part one focuses on the challenges of meeting EMI standards. Attenuating conducted EMI can be complex and difficult; Chris takes you through the causes of EMI, its impact and measurement and also explains the requirements of the various EMI standards. It will help engineers to understand much more clearly conducted EMI, causes of differential and common mode EMI, and practical test set-ups and measurement techniques.

Part two provides a practical approach for solving EMI problems. With the density priorities of modern electronic systems, designers are required to find enough PCB space for power supplies and EMI filters without sacrificing EMI efficiency. You will learn how various methods of filtering affect the development of a compact, low-noise power supply system. The session will also cover invaluable troubleshooting tips and techniques to avoid common filtering problems.
