February 13, 2013

CEO, Vicor Corporation

We’ll be at the Applied Power Electronics Conference, the premier Power Electronics Conference in the USA, March 18 – 21, at Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.  We hope you will be there too, networking with colleagues and checking out what’s new and exciting in power electronics.

Dr. Patrizio Vinciarelli, President and CEO, is scheduled to present, “Power Components Come of Age”, at the Plenary Session, on Monday afternoon, March 18 at 3:30 pm

At Vicor’s Booth #731 you’ll have the chance to see firsthand the newest high performance, high efficiency power management solutions and advanced design tools, along with demonstrations and presentations that showcase innovation in power electronics.

Throughout APEC week, you can also join us at these special sessions:

  • Wednesday, March 20 – Technical Session – DC-DC Converters for Powering VLSI Devices: Eduardo Oliveira, Principal Applications Engineer, focuses his technical presentation on a high efficiency, high density voltage regulator design that provides VR 12.0 compliant power to a microprocessor directly from a 48V input. Session begins at 8:30AM.
  • Thursday, March 21 – Dialogue Session – Modeling, Simulation, and Control: Harry Vig, Principal Applications Engineer, focuses on temperature-related MOSFET power loss modeling and optimization for DC-DC converters. Session begins at 11:30AM.
  • Thursday, March 21 – Industry Session – 3D Packaging for Power Electronics: Stephen Oliver, VP of VI Chip Marketing, discusses 3D cooling of new high density DC-DC converter. Session begins at 2:00 PM
